Tommaso Natoli





Tommaso Natoli is currently Research Fellow of International Law at Roma Tre University, where he focuses his research activities on Human Rights and Disasters. He collaborates also in the organization of the Post-graduate course on International Protection of Human Rights and of the Multidisciplinary Course on Refugees at the Sapienza University of Rome, where he gives lectures on International Law and International Organization.

His interests mainly concerns Human Rights Law, International Organization Law, International Humanitarian Law, Space Law and Internet governance.

He holds a PhD in “International Order and Human Rights” from Sapienza University of Rome (2014), where he discussed a research on “The response to disasters in international law: a comparative study of normative dynamics”. He also hold a Master Degree cum laude in International Law from the same University, where he discussed a thesis on “The violations of International Humanitarian Law during the Afghan conflict (2001-2010)”.

He is Regional Referent for International Cooperation of the Italian Red Cross Society, with tasks of scientific counseling and support for the International Humanitarian Law Office and the International Relations Office. He also holds lecturing activities for the Legal Advisors Courses for Italian Armed Forces and for the International Operators Courses for Civil Personnel.

He has been in the Organizing Committee of the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition (European Round), sponsored by the European Centre for Space Law (ECSL) and the National Council of Research (CNR).
